Project description

The main goal of the project is to build a multifunctional centre providing children and youth from the town of Spišská Belá and the surrounding area with support. The centre includes the youth organization the Face club, as well as the Pôjd educational centre, which will serve for non-formal and experiential education, inspiring and innovative activities and coworking. The construction of a training centre increases awareness of non-formal education, but above all, it will create space for prevention programmes. These programmes focus on tolerance and understanding, working with the media and media literacy, as well as cyberbullying or inclusion activities. The project cooperates with civic associations from Slovakia, as well as the Norwegian partner Newschool. The project also includes the construction of a Community Garden at the Community Centre, which will be used for outdoor activities. Through the supported activities, we will create a multifunctional youth centre that can respond to the rapidly changing needs of children and youth and also provide them with adequate support for their needs.
